Legend of Heroes Series
The Legend of Heroes series is a long running game series created Falcom. Probably one of the best RPG series created with it mix of story telling and adventure.

Brandish Series
Brandish, a series of top-down dungeon crawling action-rpgs with a mix of unique camera perspective gameplay mechanics that some players may initially find to be disorienting.
If you learn how to play however, these games offer an incredibly immersive experience.

Ys Series
Falcom's original Flagship series also happens to be one of the very first action-rpg series ever made and is also known for its impressive hair-metal soundtracks.

Information regarding a current English Translation project for Brandish 2: Renewal for the NEC PC-98 Computer. Brandish 2: The Planet Buster was given an English Translation for the Super Famicom version, however the PC-98 has many extra areas that were not included in the SFC port and generally has a much superior FM soundtrack.

Wander Wonder
An Action-RPG developed by Compile that plays like a combination of Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES) and Alundra (PSX) with an item drop system similar to Diablo. It's an incredible game that is full of adventure, secrets and items to discover, challenging puzzles to solve, platforming, you name it! It even has some bonuses such as an additional unlocked character and 500 floor dungeon/arena.

46 Okunen Monogatari
A project for the PC-98 version of Enix's 46 Okunen Monogatari - The Shinka Ron (4.6 Billion Year Story - The Theory of Evolution). You can think of this game as the grandfather of the SNES game E.V.O. The Search for Eden (To Distant Eden).
